It speaks for itself really, the Mornington Peninsula. A popular tourist location & home to 155,000 people. One side we are cuddled by the bay and the other side is the wild ocean. Whether you are wanting to book one of our proposal packages or organise it your self, The Mornington Peninsula is the perfect location for your proposal and we have a few examples below.
Local Wineries
The Mornington Peninsula is well known for their wine region. The region has a cool climate making wine growing ideal and focuses on Pinot noir production but has had success with other varietals including Chardonnay, Pinot gris and Tempranillo. Along with wine these locations come with tranquillity, scenic views, amazing food and overall the perfect location to pop the questions. Whether you arrange a meal before or after, or enjoy a glass of wine on the grass, popping the question at these location, will leave an impression that lasts.
Montalto
Wanting somewhere a bit more exclusive and private? Montalto has the package for you. Book one of their private picnics nestled in the vines. Not only will you get your own private space you will also be wined and dined. Our favourite locations are the Trout Dam and Lake Block. Ask us about our optional picnic add on’s as pictured, including bouquet of roses, candles, personalised marry me sign, photographer, lanterns and more!
Tucks
Tucks is located next to Montalto. Their sister winery. Similar to the above experience, but this location will draw a few on lookers. They have cool swings that you can book and enjoy food and wine on. relax, sit back and enjoy the ambience. Follow this with getting on one knee to top the day off.
Crittenden Estate
Wanting to make a weekend of it? The lakeside villas offer the perfect location to spend your time on the Mornington Peninsula. With views across the lake and minutes walk from the restaurant. This location has it all. Dine in at Stillwater Restaurant and follow this up with a walk by the lake. We have a few options for this location to make it extra special, let us know if you interested.
Jackalope
Now this place is like no other. A 5 star luxury hotel with rooms to die for. Dine at Doot Doot Doot or enjoy a drink watching the sunset across the vines. This experience isn’t for the faint hearted. The hotel offers optional add on’s in the room, or let us come illuminate it whilst your out for dinner with red balloons, roses, light up letters and more.
Green Olive
Green Olive. This location is one for the gram. With a glowing dining area accompanied by a short walk down to one of the prettiest lakes you will ever see. Pack a picnic rug, order some wine and enjoy the view. A bit shy? That’s ok this location can offer you a bit privacy, you may just need to walk a bit further.

Beach Proposals
Mornington
Mornington is surrounded by great proposal locations. There is a walk that cuddles the coast from the end of Carrar Creek Lane, Mornington all the way to Mount Martha. You can choose to dress up one of the many rotunda’s or use one of the many look outs. You can either keep it simple or go all out. Light up marry me letters, candles and some flowers could be the perfect touch for your proposal. Looking to dine before? Head to The Rocks and then make your way to the look out and down the path to the location pictured above. This spot is perfect for a proposal, and could be dressed up easily!
Mount Martha
This is one of our most popular beach proposal locations for our sea breeze package. With a back drop to die for this special spot is unique to the Peninsula. Whether you take us up on this set up or arrange something on your own. Your lover is sure to be surprised.
Merricks
Looking for something a bit more secluded? This is the beach for you. Nestled along the sand, you will find hidden bays amongst the trees. This part of the Peninsula is perfect for these hidden beach’s including Point Leo, Shoreham, Flinders, Balnarring & Somers.
Diamond Bay
Haven’t been here before? Maybe its time to take the trip down. Whether its a hot summer day for a dip, or just looking to explore. If walks are your thing, allocate a few hours to take the time to walk to Sorrento and back. This location could be the perfect back drop for your romantic evening.
Sorrento & Portsea
Whether you like the front beach or the back, Sorrento & Portsea can offers both. This coastal destination filled with restaurants, cafes and amazing locations. You can find a detailed list of different beaches here. Take a stroll down the pier or a walk through the township. Millionaires walk is also a nice walk to do when down this way.
Point Nepean
This scenic track is filled with history and immersed with some of natures finest creations. Bring the bikes down or tackle this walk by foot. Pack a picnic and find a quiet spot to sit, enjoy and take it all in.
Picturesque Locations
Flinders
One of the prettiest locations you ever did see. Winding roads. Sweeping meadows. Ocean views. This location can tick a few of those proposal location boxes. Pack a picnic and enjoy the serenity. Want to know where it is, just send us a message!
Botanical Gardens
We are surrounded by many beautiful gardens. From Frankston Botanical Gardens all the way across to Cranbourne Botanical Gardens pictured above. These locations are perfect for a picnic lunch and proposal.

We are so lucky here on the Peninsula with so many options for people to stay. From wineries to air BNB’s or Point Capri as pictured above.
